I was recently invited to deliver a lecture on Generative AI and work productivity for the PMI UAE Chapter. It was a great opportunity to share what I have been learning about Generative AI applications in everyday work and discuss some of the challenges faced when we try to integrate Generative AI into our work processes.
Some of the main takeaways I would like to emphasize are:
– When used properly, GenAI can indeed increase work productivity
– There are too many tools out there – identify which of those tools are relevant for you and focus on them
– Learn prompting – this is the skill of the future. Understand how (and if) mega prompts and meta prompts can help you in your work
– Learning never stops – to stay competitive, you need to stay up-to-date with recent tools
In addition, I have shown how to teach ChatGPT to write in your style, discussed the pros and cons of data analysis with Generative AI, and showcased some of the tools I am using for image and video generation, website creation, and workflow creation.
